Default On the hunt for a Model A Pickup Photo

In the past few years there was a photo in the "out and about" section of the Model A Restorer Magazine of a 30-31 Closed Cab Pickup with a canoe mounted on top of a homemade rack in the bed of the truck. The description with the photo the truck was on its way to the mountains of California for a scout camping trip. After looking through many of the back copies of the "Restorer" in my collection I am unable to find the photo. So, I ask the folks on Fordbarn for help, 1) helping me learn which issue had the photo, 2) sending me a scanned copy of the photo, or 3) offering me some advice on how to construct a wooden boat rack for my 31 closed cab pickup to support my 16' old town fiberglass canoe. Thank you in advance for the help.

Try doing a search here for : "Huckster". They have sort of a canopy body. Or start with putting four verticle posts (wood) into the four corner pockets on the bed and go from there. Shouldn't be too hard to do and I doubt if there was ever a factory or aftermarket canoe rack so you don't have to worry about being "authentic"
