Default How to: Plans to build a Flathead to T5 Transmission Adapter

City: Stony Plain
State: Alberta
Price: $19. Cheap

I finally got a good color printer again! So I am offering my plans on how to build an adapter plate that will mate a Chev T5 transmission to either an early or late Flathead engine.

There are 12 pages of good color pictures along with instructions, measurements, materials and part numbers. It's mostly careful measuring and drilling but there are a couple of hours of machine shop work.

The premise is that you use a truck 4 speed transmission to make a new bellhousing to which the adapter plate bolts to. Essentially making a truck "hogshead" bellhousing.

We have several thousand trouble free miles on our '28 AV8 Roadster.

Ford Barn price is $19 bucks including postage. I can take money orders and PayPal at [email protected]

Is there a cheaper rate where you just email the file and I print it off myself?
