I had a 33 std v-8 roadster back in the 70's & it was a trunk . Cabriolets are the ones that are all rumble seats . The B-pillar castings are reproduced by several different folks . One type is steel & one type is bronze . Gennies are steel castings .

In theory, Ford stopped making standard roadsters after the '33 model year, hence all '34 roadsters were deluxe models and the rumble seat was standard equipment.
I say in theory as they supposedly stopped making standard phaetons after the '33 model year also and yet I once had a '34 stadard phaeton and have heard of a couple of others since then. If those windshield posts on your car in your photo are originals, then the car was originally a deluxe model and it did have a rumble seat. Does the dash have an ash tray in the center of it? If so, that is another tell tale of a deluxe model. |

Thanks windshield posts are original but I do not know if original to this body as they are just loosely bolted on did not come with a dash.
can any one post up some photos of what the brackets under top panel would be like on a decklid car which sounds like would be a 33 car and photos of rumble seat mounting area and inner rear panel area for a 34 |
