The top has a Header with pinlocks on each corner and a Drawdown front center, the forward bows have snaps with flaps sewn into the top to keep the top from billowing at high speeds (see the bow snaps and header locks in photo ) the top has snaps and the rear Bow folds down, with a Boot that has button snaps to keep the top contained in the pkg. shelf

I got my 40 in 1975 and it took me 2 years to rebuild it and I still have it. I got my 39 in 1989 and I hope I can get it on the road next spring.

Picked up the 35 in 1969 from an old fashioned junk yard for $100, drove it back the next day to show that it did run, restored it in 75, been 32 years and still around.

This 35 was given to my father when he got back from WW11. My parents used it on there honeymoon and a few years after, then it got replaced and parked in my grandma's barn. My Dad and I worked on it off and on for years. About 5 yrs ago I started over again, I am making slow progress, still interior to do, my Grandson helps me some times,it will probably be his some day. I think that makes 64 yrs in our family
