Hi all - I have a 1931 Deluxe Roadster with the original cowl lights. Does anyone know the size/measurements of the screw that holds the lens to the light body? I looked it up and was told 10-32 x 3/8 but that screw does not fit into the hold in the bottom of the rim or the small bracket inside. I don't have either and need them. Thanks!

It is possible that someone oversized the screw after they stripped it. May just go to the local hardware store and try a few different sheet metal screws.

Hi folks - in case anyone comes across this again, the screw size is 6-32 x 3/8. That after 3 trips to the hardware store!!

fwiw; one of these at $25 (+/-) is a great tool to have in your shop. In the op's case it would have saved at least 2 trips to the store.

I considered those but for some reason decided on the one in the plastic case. btw; after I had mind for a while I ordered another one and had it shipped to my son-in-law. He immediately put my two grandsons to work going through all of the coffee cans/plastic containers and sorting bolts and nuts. Sorry to hijack the thread. Now back to your rregularly scheduled program.
