Default Removal of rear wheel- hub in stuck on axle

I’m taking the wheels off of my recently purchased 1917 touring to start restoring it, and three came off easily. But the left rear seems to be stuck on the axle taper quite firmly. If it was a Model A or a flathead, I would borrow a hub puller and be done with it by now. But I’m getting nowhere with moderate rapping on the end of the axle (with the nut reversed and threaded back on). Next step might be heating the hub, and/or greater force and the potential for damaging the axle. The car is not rusty and was semi-restored decades ago.
Is there a tool or technique to use? The car is not drivable, so I can’t readily try the trick of loosening the axle nut a couple turns and driving around the yard to get it to pop loose. It has later demountable rims. Ideas appreciated!

If you intend on keeping the car, invest in the correct & proper wheel puller before you damage something or yourself !

Thanks. That was what I was looking for. I’ve seen several different styles for A’s and V8’s, but I’ve never seen one for T’s.

You might consider checking out Lang's Old Car Parts, Chaffin's Garage & Snyder's for T parts.
