Default Randy Gross F-100 Steering Box

Is Randy Gross still selling the F-100 rebuilt steering box to fit a 1930 Model A? Old age and even older shoulders make this conversion an appealing thought.

I love mine. More turns lock to lock which makes the steering less responsive, but far less force is needed to move the steering wheel. I can move the steering on asphalt with the car stationary. The box is much easier to adjust, just one adjustment. I use 85W-140 gear oil in mine. The box is designed with rolling contact for the sector which takes away most of the friction.

Randy's F-100-ish steering boxes are AMAZING!

A BIG plus of his rebuilds are that he has one piece shafts made. Many others just weld the F100 shafts to the A one.
