Default Painting over varnished wooden spokes

How do I paint over varnished wheels?

If you are not removing the varnish (recommended) Use regular enamel paint.

If the varnish is in good shape just scuff them with red scotch brite and shoot them with enamel. A rattle can will work good. My wheels still look great after being done in 2001.
