Default Ford vs Mercury

Does anyone know if hood hinges on a 54 Ford will fit a 54 Mercury? Thanks!!

You might be able to find out in a Hollanders manual for those years. Junk yards always had them.

They should be the same. By the mid fifties Ford & Mercury were sharing the same overall body shell and basic architecture.

BA-16796-A and BA-16797-A are the part numbers which indicates they are same as Ford. Shoe Box Central lists them as a pair but hold your breath when you see the price tag.
