Default Master cylinder line fitting?

Hello - I am changing my brake system back to original 4 wheel drum on my '56. I have a new single bowl master cylinder. What fitting do you all use on the single brake line coming out from the master? Is it NPT threaded? Help! Thanks in advance. - F F

I'm fairly sure those connections are inverted flare, so threads are likely 3/8"-24 or 7/16"-20 SAE fine threads. Straight machine thread, not pipe thds.

I am changing it back to stock from a half a$$ed front disc brake conversion set up (on the car when purchased) that never worked to my satisfaction. For the little bit that I drive now, the drum-drum brakes will be fine. Anyways, I found the fitting I was looking for this morning. Thank you! F F

CASCO has the fitting and the special bolt that holds it. Plus the two washers that are used with it. Part #'s 2076A,2276, 2154. I don't know if the sedans used the heat shield, but they have that too.

The copper crush washers are a special size, they have been in business for a long time, should have right ones.
