All, I am looking at a 1935 Ford with a 1948/'49 59A-B 239 engine tranny combo. What puzzles me is the straight angled shift lever. '35 Ford cars had a "goose neck" bend in the shift lever. Could the 239 engine trans combo have come from a '48/'49 pickup? Didn't '48/'49 cars all have column shifters?
In addition, the brake pedal location looks a little wonky. What say you? Last edited by AzBob; 04-29-2026 at 11:23 AM. |
