Chris, My '92 F350 isn't really considered an old truck out here, but I get Vintage Truck magazine and people in the East rust belt are restoring stuff like this. I still remember vividly when I first saw it in 1992 special order by a local contractor. It now has 120,000 miles on it. Never any rust. 7.3 IDI, ZF 5 spd, 4x4, 2 winches. Haven't used it in 6 months...I could run it over to you in the spring

G.B., I have three promos of the OBS trucks. I started selling in 1992, so I have fond memories of those trucks. The XLT seats were very comfortable. Chevy in that era was like a school bus seat. I should've stuck with toys instead of real stuff...would've been much cheaper. |

Guys,
Thanks for the support! I know that no one on here is going to talk to someone out of owning a new project with wheels! Hoping to get a good look at the potential truck project within the next few weeks. We need a fresh ride to get back and fourth from home to the many ice cream shops in the area! GB, good looking OSB flatbed with the 7.3! Yea I would drive that! Looks like it would do a great job hauling tractors to pulls! Regards, Chris and Cheryl

Guys,
We missed the boat on the very nice green on green 78 Ford F100 in NJ. The owner had someone walk up with a fist full of cash and that sealed the deal. I will have a big scab on my butt from kicking myself about that one! So we checked the Facebook market place again. Found a freshly posted 1966 Ford F100 in KY, and short story, pulled the trigger. It may be home by Easter. I will try not dilute this 32 truck thread with the gory details. I may start a thread on the correct portion of the Ford Barn Forum? Here is a sneak peak: ![]() ![]() You now know just about as much as I do. Keeping my expectations low. ![]() Humm? I might need to update my signature? ![]() Hope things are good in Ford Land! Regards, Chris and Cheryl

Nice looking truck, Chris! What part of Kentucky did you find that one? Let me know if I can be of any help.

Guys,
Just happened to stop by and it doesn't mean much but the thread count begins with Cheryl's numbers that we watch for 628.... Not much happening here, weather is just starting to get nice. Things will start to get busy. Hope to get the 32 out soon! Stretch its legs on some back roads at 20 mph! Regards, Chris and Cheryl

Ford Folks,
Of all the vehicles we have this one starts the best and gives me the least problems. Most of the Allis tractors did not start the first time. Spark or fuel. Ford tractor needed points. Comet was very hard to start. Edge has Cat going out. The 32 started after fuel got to the carb after cranking and some choke. Warmed up and took the ragged old truck to town. I sometimes forget its 94 years old! ![]() ![]() Added 5 gal of gas at this point . Also filled the rad with 2 quarts of water. ![]() Re-set the trip odometer to zero. ![]() ![]() Put about 10 miles on the dump truck and it climbed the big hill on our road in high gear! Felt good to get it out and stretch. Maybe some car shows this year? Folks seem to like it! Regards, Chris and Cheryl

It's a real shame that the barn doesn't have a "like" button...

Mark,
Yes the 1966 Ford F100 was shipped from KY to upper PA late March. We have been learning about it ever since. It has issues as a lot of older units do. This turquoise truck has been modified in many ways, different engine, auto trans now, was a three on the tree, power brakes, was single old school system, has front disc brakes. Has power steering. John has been helping me on the 66 projects along the way. I did not know we needed another project truck but I now own one! We have done king pins twice, and new rear bumper twice. I have new smaller steering wheel for it. Must replace and repair items in the upper steering column. Installing a Lokar floor shift kit soon. Probably needs rear shocks ........ Paint is a number 1. Its going to be a driver/ shop truck. ![]() Regards, Chris and Cheryl
