An upholstery shop could do it for you.

Specifically, what is a "Carpet Floormat"? If it is carpet instead of a rubber mat, then Yes. Mike at Classtique offers carpet for various closed cars along with one for the De4Luxe Roadster. Would this help you??

Don't mean the steal the thread, but I've wondered for some time. Which Model A's had carpet installed originally? And, was it at the front seat as well as the back seat?

YES, I'm tired of lifting the rubber mat to check my transmission (I have the modification), and to lube a bearing. That rubber mat can be heavy/difficult at my age (84

Ford started out with carpet in all the higher end cars in 1928 but slowly went more to rubber mats in 1929. The Fordor and Deluxe types kept carpets. A good book to have is "The Ford Model A As Henry Built It" by the old Ford guys George DeAngelis, Edward P. Francis, and Leslie R. Henry. It lists all the upholstery trim, interior colors, and exterior colors for all models.

I would make my own if I just had to have a carpet. I would sew a border around all the edges to hold it together.

Hello, the Brown Book , long the standard for Model A information, I still have mine, purchased in very early 1970,s . I think it was one of the first books to come out on how the originally built, other books were available for restoration but this was the first to narrow down interior, color scheme and original specifications. The original carpet do have an opening around the gas pedal and foot rest that to me always seems distracting , can see the wood underneath.
