Ever since I got on this site I look at all the good that is out there. I have received more help on various sites than I have in person. No matter the response I have to keep a positive attitude as there is always more help than not. Thanks for all that you do. And this is not trying to butter any one up.I have belonged to a lot of car sites.

Ryan, I'm new here and read this thread a couple days back. This morning something hit me that is one of my favorite lessons in life. It's perfectly summed in a quote from Mark Twain:
"It ain't what you know for certain that gets ya in trouble. It's what ya know for certain that just ain't so!" I'm enjoying the forum immensely and I hope this great quote brings a little humor into all this. I laugh every time I think of Mr. Twain's (Sam Clemen's) observation! |

What does the green dot mean that is beside the report button I see on my posts? I don't remember seeing that before.
Thanks, Bob Intini |

Hi Ryan, us users of this site really appreciate you taken control of certain derogatory comments toward others and there businesses. It shows the professionalism and respect you have for all your users to gain knowledge and receive help with certain things the pertain to the Ford Model A hobby. I don't usually post but scroll for information and knowledge on this site. It's going to build a better community going forward for the hobby. Well Done Ryan, Sincerely Mario

Both those operation will increase the hole size. Honing generally gives a finer finish and is used on cast iron for the most part. Reaming is done with a pre sized tool and is generally used in bronze bushings. Your comment may have been confusing to the subject at hand. A difficulty on forums is many have experienced the same problem and fixed it with different solutions. What worked for you may have not worked for someone else but their different solution worked for them. This makes it hard for the newby to figure out what to do and he may not even have the same root problem causing the symptom that the fix is being offered for. |
