Hi guys,
I have two doors here and both have really bad inner bottoms. I have looked and I cannot seem to find a vendor that carries the inner door bottom although I have seen pics where it looks like they are available or atleast they used to be. Does anybody know if somebody makes them? Thanks.

Todd Murthum (Northern Classic Trucks) used to make them, reportedly his dies have been scrapped and are no longer with us.
OldGold360 posts on Fordbarn occasionally, he seems to be able to do amazing forming, you might contact him to see if he would do ones for you. |

Dang I used to live close to Northern Classic trucks and I remember when they closed up. Very sad that most of his dies did not get used.

Really though, Old Gold is the guy to contact. Not only a master of automotive sheet metal forming, but his specialty is '35 and '36 pickups patch panels.

I think I am going to remove the bottom and rebuild it myself but I will need a new outer lower skin. Who makes the best one or are they all coming from the same source?

Then he must be the owner. I did not know he had an actual business, but I guess I never asked. I don't even know where in Washington he is located. Hopefully he can help you out.

We have been emailing back and forth and he is the same guy. He is currently working on lower inner door panels so that is a good thing! Wont be done in time for my client so I will rebuild them and get them as close as possible. He does have outer lower skins so I will be ordering a set of those.
