Default 32 rear luggage bar, welds

I got a 'std' Henry luggage bar and I know they can be hard to find and expensive.
I had flenges ( thick ) from a spare tire bar and idea was make one, as I notice price over 1K for a std.
This one was not any cheaper, but here in Sweden.
It was straight and I notice the edges in the luggage flenges indicated a std Henry, and it had several layes of paint.
After blastred it I notice the weld feel not Henry, but rust show it is not welded in recent time, but it look odd.
Ideas ?

Proto type or very early assemblies are often rough. Newc

Provided the brackets are correctly positioned & the rack & hardware fit it appears a bit of filler& high build primer would make it serviceable.

Yes as I payed rather high buck and its a std bar I will not do much more than filler and paint. My car will be nice car ( no patina ) but idea is based on Henry parts and old speedparts but as it’s a hotrod it will has new parts made and some old high modify.
But when it comes to a part like this they never made own made bars back then ( my guess ) as if so I could made one cheap and supernice and also chrome it.
So it make no sense try make this nice.
Its a cool bar anyway.
No one really cares so it’s more a own inhead issue.

Hank, I have a luggage bar that came off a original 4 Door sold new in New Zealand & it would have come from Canada, the bar looks just like yours, with the same crappy welds.

Intresting, as I seen way better welds on others, one idea this was a very early made one.
I guess this was optional Ford might used many different factorys.
Maybe the Canada factory was not hold the same works (?)
My is ugly but I will do as one said, some fine grind and filler, and its Ok.
