Default 1941 front parking brake cable ends fastener, where?

i'm installing a new front parking brake cable.

there are fixing brackets at both ends of the cable (i'm not referring to the mult-strand spiral cable inside the sheath). as far as i know, they are squarish shaped 1/8" thick fasteners with a "U" shaped cutout in them that serve to keep the cable ends in those fixing brackets. they need to be stout enough to tolerate the leverage exerted on them every time the parking brake is set. there are some that look similar that are used to secure the flexible hydraulic rubber brake lines to the hard brake lines. they are not what i'm looking for as they are much too flimsy to do the job. the ones i need are at least 1/8" thick, maybe 5/32", maybe 1 1/2" square and the "U" shaped width is about 1/2" inch.

i need to know what they are called and where to get them. i can only find the flimsy ones for use with the flexible brake hoses.

any and all help is appreciated.

Clip for the brake pipe to flex hose is the same as for the emergency brake cable according to the Green Book-Bible.

that's good to know...gives me some assurance (not that it's a major financial investment) that it's the correct part, which is my major concern. as it is it's taken me quite a while to get this brake working again, up to and including the replacement of the left rear brake backing plate. not a trivial task!

thanks for the info, much appreciated!

Yeah, Huey, the clip just holds things in position, the brake application loads are in the opposite direction.
