Does anyone recognize this Wheel? It has 5x5-1/2 pattern, and it looks like the Hubcap adapters have been welded on from the backside.
TIA!! Last edited by BRENT in 10-uh-C; 01-19-2026 at 05:13 PM. |

I believe that wheel is a Cleveweld brand. Years ago Lorin Sorensen did a complete article on accessory wheels that fit old Fords. Those brand wheels mimic early Chevrolet.

Here's some old ads from Kelsey Hayes. If yours are KH, they should have a small KH stamped inside the rim, usually near the valve hole, and usually next to the size. Sometimes KH stamped near the lug area on the face too. I think your wheels are just like these, with the extra hubcap holding ring option.

I usta have a few with the hubcap ring like the OP’s, and they did accommodate the raised nibs. I currently have a couple sets like in the ad, artillery without the hubcap ring, and they do not accommodate the nubs. Fit on a flat hub.

What are the chances of finding those KH hubcaps? The Chev artillery wheels do NOT take GM caps. Ford also about factory caps? Newc

Well, I'm not sure I can answer your question fully but HERE is a link to one option. Scroll to the bottom of their page to find the stainless adapters needed to use early V8 hub caps. Speedway Mtrs. also sells some metal ones that can be plated or painted, and those can have different marques of hubcaps used. |
