just getting back to all who responded took trany out and pulled apart .. planetary's were toast and part of a tooth lodged and wouldnt let shift rail move so looking for planetarys and sliding gear to repair it In the mean time I found a good overdrive and installed all seams good thanks for all your ideas Fred
