BW Senior Member Join Date: Jul 2011 Posts: 322	Re: To Choke or Not to Choke Yes only when the key is ON. A lot of people use the S terminal on the back of the alternator, I know it's between 7 & 8 volts but everyone I have talked to say they have not had a problem.
