I am putting this Tudor together. 1930/31.
I need to repair these pieces, left and right. This is a picture of the driver side below the rear window at the subrail. i think it might hold the window when its in the down position? Not sure, as i bought this as a project. Pass side is worse. Is this reproduced? I looked in the bigger catalogs but could not find them. |

As for not finding items in the catalogs. Part of the issue that we are all guilty of is not calling specific pieces by their correct nomenclature. For example, what you are identifying as a subrail is actually the Floor Side Sill. To identify these items further, the entire assembly that holds the Window Regulator is the A-56603 Qtr. Panel Assembly - Inner. What makes this difficult is there are 3 pieces that make this an assembly, -the A-56621 Side Lining Panel - Upper and the A-56648 Qtr. Panel Lower Reinforcement |

I've seen the part that the rear window regulators attach to but the little pieces are harder to identify. More reproduction sheet metal is made for Coupes & Roadsters but there are fender well patches and front corners of the cowl as well as some lower door patches for Tudors. Parts that are common to most bodies are available but that's about it. Fabrication of parts is the only recourse in most cases. |
