3 speed shifters for the oem ford transmission aren’t that hard to find. This is not true for the o/d shifters. But do yourself a favor and get something that was decent when they were new. Last thing you want is a crappy shifter that’s also worn out.

This link is to Jeg’s and a Hurst Indy shifter. It lists for Fords 49-later. Look at the pictures, there’s a whole selection of bracket pieces, presumably to bolt together in the combo you need. I won’t comment on the Indy, but it’s not the syncro lok by any means.
But it at least gives a new price for a baseline product and some ideas on how they go together. I won’t comment on some of the other products new and used. I’ve used syncro looks and years ago a hurst mystery shifter. Hurst said “it’s a Mystery how we made it so affordable”. The other saying was “it’s a mystery what gear its going into”. https://www.jegs.com/i/Hurst/530/501...hoCr-AQAvD_BwE |

https://www.hotrodreverend.com/post/...n-blog-part-10 What Miker is saying is certainly true - do not cheap out on this. I took my time and found some NORS Hurst items that help me put it all together, even with an NOS syncroloc shifter which has been perfect. It was more difficult for me because I have the BW259 with the R10 overdrive; makes the bracket clearances interesting. I found the items on eBay for my current transmission. I have a T85 with R11 that I plan to install. I do have a complete NORS Hurst kit for this setup - paid quite a bit to a guy who used to frequent the Y Blocksforever site.
