Lots of good information on this site for this topic. Do a search.
Of importance, be sure to cover the top of the top bows with cotton duck or heavy fabric. Staple to the side of the bows, not to the top. This will prevent squeaking or tapping of the chicken wire on the top bows. Also, when installing the chicken wire do not allow any contact of the wire with the metal car body if you intend to use it as a radio antenna. Install the vinyl material in the hot sun or a very well heated shop. |
