The side shift transmissions remained in production from 1940 through 1948 so there are likely folks looking for them. If gears are good with emphasis on the input & cluster set and first/reverse then it has a lot of value there. Those cases are rarer than top shift types. I'd figure minimum of $250 with more for good gears. Start high and let it ride till you decide to let it go for less. Shipping on stuff like that requires a crate so figure that in. It ain't cheap to ship stuff these days. Heavy stuff generally has to go less than a truck load truck freight. You might get lucky on Craigslist but you just never know. It always depends on local population numbers.
