I worked at the old Mobil refinery in Brooklyn, NY for a few months one summer in 1962 packing motor oils in cans and barrels. I got a chance to drive a truck taking pallets around the refinery. It was a summer job. The refinery has been shut down for decades. I got to see the water around the refinery as the most completely polluted stream imaginable. Vic
