Ford "TRUK-AGE" has loads of photos and statements from local town end users of their trucks and Commercial vehicles, as well as dealers and story's. Ford distributed this small magazine to their dealers and others every couple of months.

Its funny that back then they thought 102K miles without an overhaul was a big deal.
Modern cars are just broke in at 100k. I had almost 400k on a 91 Honda, salt finally killed that car, no motor problems. 320k on my 89 diesel Dodge, runs just like it did when I bought it 15 years ago |

When I lived in Wright County there was Unthun trucking out of Eagle Grove. 8 new car dealers in the county back in 1992. Today only one hanging on by a thread. Kirk Jacobson that had the Ford dealership in Gowrie and I are longtime friends. Clarion Ford where I started was demolished and is a Dollar General. Was an IH spec building when it was built in 1946.
