I’m putting the ‘37 back together following clutch work and can’t remember where this bracket goes. I know it is part of the floorboard. Please explain.

Above steering column at floorboard near center.

That part goes on the driver side floor board to span the opening for the steering column. The raised portion goes toward the steering column.
