I sometimes wonder why Henty Ford, as frugal as he was, would make such a slight yearly change that is indistinguishable to all but the most knowledgeable and observant people.

(I was gonna say "anal-retentive", but that ain't quite right.)

On the way to a car show Friday, my friend in his 55 Chev handyman special rear-ended me and the bumper is toast. Can you or anyone else help point me to somewhere i can find one. If not, is there any chrome shops left in the US that you folks trust? I have Two painted ones I could maybe use. Lastly, are the Front and rear bumpers suppose to be exactly the same on my 36 Ford Roadster. Thanks, Steve in Sandy Oregon
Some of the V-8 parts dealers may have the repo bumpers in stock, but they are not spring steel like the originals. I suspect to have a good one chromed is probably $700-$1000. I sent you a private message so check your message at the top of the page on the right side.

Please remember that the bumpers and brackets are different for 35 and 36 Fords, but also the bumper guards are different as well. Thanks.
