My car is a 32 coupe and the different size shim gaskets that I ordered are to big in diameter. Does the 32 take the model A gaskets, which I assume are smaller.

You probably have a B rearend. If it’s got a round flange on the front of the banjo housing it’s a B. Scalloped is a V8.

The period chassis parts catalogs, including the inexpensive reprints, indicate that except for the front of the torque tube, the Model B gaskets in question are carryover Model A parts.
