Default 1935 manushia rabbit hole query

I have already gotten help from one Barner with this BUT could a couple of you 1935 owners shoot a picture of the front spring leaf ends or your car for me?? I would greatly appreciate it.

Ya got me on that one. I had no idea what he was referring to.

I thought it might be a city in Georgia.

Please don't request answers be emailed. Have them posted so everyone sees them. Also, if there are errors they will be spotted if posted. Finally, answers are less likely to be sent because everyone assumes someone else has already done it.

I thought it was a Japanese word for "rabbit hole"!

It’s Hobbit Hole now. The other one is obsolete.

Don't have a photo but may be able to answer a question. There are several drawings in the club restoration book.

Terry

What is got me asking is here is a picture of a front spring in a 35 Convertible Sedan which appears to have three different leafs 32/33, 34 and 35....I know a lot can and has happened to these cars over the successive years BUT this spring sure looks to be untouched OR at minimum was "repaired/replaced" shortly after it was made. The second picture was also of one out of a 35 and it "appears" different than what I know 35 ends to be?? The last Is what I know 35's to be. I'll look a the book as soon as i get my copy back in my hand.

Someone is always "springing" something new on me. Had no idea either. Learned something, I think, maybe .....

The 35 front spring leafs should have the tapered and rounded ends. No depression for a grease path, 2" wide, No zerk fitting for lubrication. Both the front and rear springs have two inverted U-shaped clips over the spring leafs held on with a rivet not a bolt.
