OK, so I may have a bad sender. No there is no sealer of any kind on the theads and yes I have the factory restrictor. Dennis Carpenter has them but their made in China and buying used ones seems to be a pig and a poke as thats where the two I have came from. As for the locationon my 41 pickuo it would have been down on the block an on my 53 merc motor it was on the restrictor fitting. Thanks for the info. Tim
