I have the main board and the thin anti squeak/weatherstrip ready to tack on but have a question. Do you tack on one long strip that corners around the back edge to sides or three strips? Also do you just trim the side edges or wrap around entire width of the side edges and tack to bottom? My question is because the boards are already relieved on side bottoms ? Not even gonna ask on front board yet just want to get this one going.

The webbing shown in your photos is too thick, it looks like body to frame webbing. Model A suppliers stock the correct material.

Neither the back edge of the #1 board nor the front edge of the #2 board had webbing. A square-cross-section felt strip was also added to the sides of the #1 board. Try thirdgen for the felt strips.

The webbing was one piece for each board.

It doesn't look like it but it is less than .060 thick but I knew it was a little wider at 1 1/2 ".Had it for 60 years for Model A work. Brattons list some thin 1/32" and more narrow 1 1/4" stuff and so does David Renner so may try that . Can't find Michael's material for #1 board at least not yet .
