Default 1947 ford cunningham town car

This showed up on facebook marketplace in Connecticut, I've never seen one before. Personally I think it's an awkward looking cross between prewar and postwar. For the price he's asking it's worth more parted out. Hope it finds a good home.

reminds me of an architectural description i once read.

to paraphrase, "the house had a Queen Anne front, and a Maryann behind."

I thought Cunningham stopped using Ford chassis in 1936? Anyone familiar with this or am I thinking of another Cunningham company? The one I’m referring to is out of Rochester New York.

I wouldn't be surprised if you are correct, and this car is some home brew built later to "update" a 36. Interesting either way.

Didn't Johnny Cash have a song about that car...

The set of 5 Lyons 16" hubcaps are worth half the asking price, or more.

The back part looks correct for a 1936 Cunningham.
