You can do the fuel pump, sure. Make sure you get ethanol safe diaphragm material. A nice thing about having Charlie do it is he sets them up and checks that they are only putting on 2.5 lbs of pressure.

If you can pressure check them after rebuilding and adjust if too low or too high, go for it for sure.
