Narrow whitewalls are readily available on current radials at about the same cost as blackwalls. They just don't look right on the older cars. When you get to wide whites, the price goes through the roof. The newly released Kontio tires are a bit cheaper and, from all reports, are very good tires. I'm putting a set on the '51 when I get back to Minnesota.
