Default 26 T coupe choke rod

Is there a choke rod for inside the car ? I have the small wire that goes beside the radiator for hand cranking . But I haven’t found any photos or info on a choke rod for inside the cabin

Here are photos of the choke rod/needle adjuster for the Holley NH in my ‘26 T RPU - knob on the dash and linkage under the hood. ☘️

Yes - it is a combination mixture/choke rod available at the t parts dealers.

I believe it uses a rod (wire) that attaches to the choke arm and has a small fixing attachment sleeve device that fits with a cotter pin on to the portion of the mixture control rod that will slide up and down. The lower portion is fitted to the U-joint and only responds to turning of the mixture needle. This is on the NH and L4 carb type installations.

The actual system used on a lot of 1926 and 27 models were set up for the vaporizer but are similar in the way the choke functions. If it is converted or has the NH or L4 type set up used in earlier cars then it may need some modification to work like the individual type systems.

Thanks for the photos ! I ordered that part that goes over the rod. Is there a pin to hold it for when you pull the rod to engage the choke ?

Hotrodderhaag - I use a cotter pin and a small flat washer for the choke pull - here is another photo that may help. 😎☘️
