Maybe the truck without ammo could to other things than be tied to the cannon having to supply it with ammo? This way the truck can go to Home Depot while the cannon is well supplied and firing on target

Any information about that cool half-track? Country of origin? Story behind it's creation?

Marmon Herrington was/is a US company. But, who they built this prototype for, I don’t know. May have been submitted to the US for testing. They submitted a 36-37 4wd 1/2 ton Coe ambulance, obviously didn’t get accepted; they also submitted a 4wd 1/2 and 3/4 ton Ford for consideration, however the Dodge offerings were picked.

1936-37 MH converted a Ford to a half track with front driving axle. Precursor to the WW2 halftracks.

seems it might be ideal for some back country road driving, or off-road pursuits... such as up or along some of the High Cascades' trails up above Seattle and Issaquah! ~

I notice you capitalized 'Home Depot' but not 'Target'.

The tan half-track in Post 22 and 26 is a 1931 C4 based Citroën P17C Kégresse.

I believe the 1936 Ford Model 51 half-track purchased by the Canadian army was modified by Cunningham using tracks and equipment developed by Cletrac. I don't have positive proof of this, but some circumstantial evidence.

Marmon-Herrington also got involved with modifying the same trucks in 1935 with front wheel drive. In 1936 Marmon-Herrington developed their own front wheel drive Ford half-track truck. I suppose none of these designs ever made it past the trials.
