Default 37 transmission question

I'm almost ready to remove the transmission from my 37 club cab. does it go down and out or up and out? it looks tight either way. And i would like not to remove the rear mount if that's at all possible. any thoughts are appreciated. Thanks, Ernie

The transmission comes up and out on the 1937. Detach the front seat and move it rearward to give yourself room to work. Why don’t you want to remove the rear mount? Disconnect the rear mounts and the rear support comes out with the transmission. You will have to move the rear axle rearward to disconnect it from the u-joint.
