Good for you Kube, glad you still have the pic. I still have my first tow truck, a 55 Tonka, Ford of coarse. Sorry, no pics. It was still pretty nice until the fire of 2010, but I'll fix er up again some day

Hey "Kube", love your jackstands. That little car is probably a collectible now.

Kube, I had one like it, but possibly a different color. 1949, I was 5 yrs. old then. First real car was a 1950 Ford, been driving them ever since.

Here was my Brother (pictured) and my first. It was sitting along side a garage here in town under the eve of the roof...my Dad finally stopped and ultimately ended up with it...as you can see, it coincided with the "Edsel" faze of our Ford collecting history. In 2007 a local writer did a story on the Edsel and published this photo...a collector up in Ohio has it now (or at least back in 2007)!!!! My Dad sold it back in the mid to late 80's, would love to have it back!!!!

My first car was a 1941 Mercury coupe, bought for $45. No pics to my regret, don't think I even owned a camera then. Pics of my current forthcoming, when I eventually get it out of the shop.

My first car is my avatar 35 coupe. My dad said i could have it when i was 11. laid under that thing for about a month wire brushing and painting the frame. Stopped and started the project many times over the years. Finally "finished" 10 yrs ago, when i was 67.

This one is for sale on facebook marketplace in the Seattle area. I know it isn't good to lust after something, but.... It isn't cheap. What can you tell me about the sideways elongated V8 symbol? I have seen it before. I wish I had a photo of my first car, a pedal fire truck, second hand from a neighbor. My dad painted it with a brush.
