Default Re: What did you do today that was flathead V8 related?

I have been working on cleaning the rust and grease off the rear axle and driveshaft for my 1937. What a cloud of rust dust, thank goodness for a good face mask. I had the rear radius rods sand blasted and I welded up the holes that were from the hydraulic brake lines and emergency brake cables installation, then painted them. Also, disassembling a pair of 1937 brakes so that I can clean up and paint the backing plates.
