Default Honest Charlie

It seems that the main thing I remember from an Honest Charlie Catalog in the late 50s and early 60s was: --The last one to laugh is a fool for waiting! Anyone else remember this?

The intake manifolds of all shapes and sizes used to fascinate me. Also, the engine swap stuff. Wish I still had that old catalog.

I don't know if they still have a print catalog, but they're still in Chattanooga.

I have an Honest Charley catalog from 1961. I dug it out and of course had to check out the flathead stuff. Look at these prices from back in the day!

The catalogs are great for id'n old stuff. Now known for excellent woodgraining. Local V8 President had his full set of '32 3window grained parts from Honest Charlie, Stolen in transit from a USPS warehouse. The speed shop labels gave away the contents, and the $5k insurance label. NEVER found to this day? Full set of finished 3W parts. ?? Newc
