A friend has asked me about finding a center top latch for the 53 Sunliner they inherited. I have no idea, can anyone provide any info? Thanks.

A couple of sources I have had success with for odd-ball stuff like this are Southside Obsolete ("barndfind08" on this forum) and Shoebox Central, who seem to have a bunch of used parts https://shoebox-central.com/52-53-ford-parts.

This is what you are looking for. Good luck, they are one of the hardest pars to find, if you own a convertible. The are made out of pot metal, and are very brittle and break very easily, if you stress them.

It might take a while to find one, but they do come up from time to time. Good luck
