Adjusting pressure plate Model A 1931
Is it possible to adjust the fingers of the coupling when engine is installed in the car. The car drives jerky (!?!)
Thanks, Bart |

Yes, but you have to be somewhat of a contortionist.

Does the car drive “jerky “ just when using the clutch or driving down the road with foot off the clutch?
You could look in the inspection hole and measure the distance the fingers are away from the face of the release bearing to see if they are off, they should have equal gaps. |

NO, do it right the first time. there is no way to measure the finger height to get it right.

I can do a quick check via the inspection hole but probably need to remove the engine to do it correct |
