This may or may not be a factory cutout, but it looks just like the cutout shown in Bruce McCalley's book on a 1919 car. Regardless, it is an early, period correct cutout. I have serviced it to include the following:
-Cover removed and internals cleaned with electrical contact cleaner. -Air gap checked -Points dressed and gap adjusted -point closure voltage adjusted using a variable power supply and voltmeter. -Repainted. -New terminal post insulator made. Original brass hardware cleaned and polished. -Retested after final assembly.
