I know what you're asking, and we just sold the car to someone in Ohio, so I can't look. But I don't remember the details. Looking at the picture below of a '37 Coupe with the obvious tube tunnel in floor, I don't remember my particular details NOW. It certainly was not a big project, because I remember that I did not even have to remove the seat. I guess that I have not been of much help here today....sorry!

Luckily, my "Handle" comes from the body style of my hot rod, not my physical body build.

Seat was moved up 2”, and back 3” . Perfect, I can now get in with my current situation, then slid seat ahead to comfortable pedal position.

39’ Deluxe duel vacuum wiper motor. We have had car a few years , vacuum hose cut off near glove box. We took plug out of aluminum intake. Very good vacuum. Spliced the line back together. Negative results.
Headliner is very nice . Will not be taking it down to repair Vacuum Wiper motor. Any suggestions as to a remedy to try to get working ? We took line apart, shot a very small amount of Silicone spray in, and gave it 5 psi with air gun. Now wipers will wiggle a little when turned on. Like they are trying to work.
Thanks, Stretch

Chris made the complete wiring for all my old Fords, only my avatar roadster is 12 v and my 40 wagon scored 987 with no deductions on the wiring. He makes a very good product
stock or custom..

Wipers Work
Put about 20 miles on 39’ today. Went and got it inspected, gassed up. Felt good driving.
The first time in 2 months.

6 months ago, I bought a pair of reproduction 39’ tail pipe hangers .
One side broke, the other is starting to fall apart.
There is no tension to speak of on these hangers.

Men I need a little help.
After our 39’ Deluxe Grill got repaired and painted.
I am now polishing the trim.
Question does the round curved end of trim go on top, and the narrower point goes on the bottom ?
Thank, Stretch IMG_9557.jpg

On mine only the 2 outside smallest bars have points which face down.

Our 39 Ford Sedan Windshield.
It’s a nice frame, with good Chrome.
Never fit the car right on passenger bottom corner.
I took a 39 frame out, took the old glass out of it. It went about 30 miles away, to the guy that builds model A up to 36’ Windshield Frames.

So he took an hour with me and put my frame on his big jig bench.
And reworked my frame without harming the Chrome.
Brought her home, put the old glass in it , put the frame back on the car and it fit perfect.
Then took the frame back out and put brand new gray glass to go with the blue car and new Windshield gasket.

So, my question is - should I open the windshield all the way and lube the gasket surface with Vasoline to help it settle in and conform to its resting position ?

I'd ask the guy that you had that made it fit. It sounds like he knows what he's doing.
