Default Hubcap... Wazzit? Aftermarket? or?

There have been some GREAT threads on hubcaps...

Anyone know what it fits... I suspect its an "no-name" aftermarket... correct?

Would it be worth 38 Italian Lira?

Karl, What you have is a 1946 Mercury Hubcap the same as this NOS Hubcap

Continuing on this subject, the design was changed part-way through 1947 and continued on for the 1948 Mercury, like this example. As you can see, the overall shape is the same as your Hubcap, but these later models have Mercury spelt in the centre. I hope that this helps.
