Default Re: 1939’ Deluxe 2DR Sedan

So I have done a ton of reading back in Fordbarn archives pertaining to U Joint Coupler . I now have JD Cornhead Grease.
My question is how much Grease to squeeze in ? The outer clam shell lower half grease fitting lines up with the hole in inner shell. Would I be better off temporarily removing that grease fitting, and use a needle adapter on grease gun ? I ask the amount because the Mitchell front tube does not have a speedo hole on top side . Cable gets extended back to OD unit.
In general do you guys remember how much of a full tube it should take ?
Thank You
Stretch
