Scoffing at the use of an electric pump installed on seldom used/operated vehicles is not just "prudish" but simply ridiculous. This is especially true for 6V systems. Some of my units are not started for months. Dumping gas or spraying ether in a carb is not only less safe but certainly more troublesome. Apparently the EFV8 Club is reasonable enough to realize the facts.
