Hey guys... Just receive a Model A 28-29 style radiator shell with a bronze finish oval Ford emblem in raised letters... Do you know if it's an original Ford piece or reproduction, Model/Year... Many Thanks.

I had a belt buckle once that looked like that, made of bronze. What size is yours? What does the back look like?

That bronze rad emblem is correct for Ford of Canada cars for 1930 only. I’ve seen lots including on winners in fine point judging

The canadian car emblems were black from 28 to 30.

The judging standards have a picture of the 1930 Canadian one. It says, Page F-27, a dull chrome finish. So the original should have a bit of chrome left at least in the rough section. Size looks similar to the enamel 29 or a little bit bigger. We got this badge here in Oz for 1930-31.

Looks like a normal, aged radiator badge that is just missing the blue enameled background finish. Maybe a reproduction one that was never finished with the blue background or one where the blue background was stripped off.
