I'm looking for a source for hold down bolts for the battery clamp for a 1937 pickup. In the green book they are listed as 77-810748 and 77-810749. I can find the carriers and the clamps, but no one seems to have the bolts. Any ideas for a source?

You could contact Michael at Third Gen Automotive, I have seen him selling two different lengths. I have also seen some posted on e-bay recently.

37 truck....The battery bolts for the 37 pickups/trucks are different lengths for the driver side and passenger side. They are unique to the trucks/pickups. The stock passenger car battery bolts are too short and will not work on either the passenger or driver side on the pickup/truck with a stock battery hold down and stock battery height. The correct battery bolts for the pickups/trucks can be difficult to find. Hopefully Third Generation can help. I bought some from All Ford Parts in California several years ago and Paul at American Parts had some as well. Put a post in the "Wanted" section on Fordbarn and maybe someone has some spares.

I found this online to see if I have what your looking for on a junker ‘37 cab I have. I do have one of these bolts, however it’s not in the best condition.

We usually make them using treaded rod stock from the hardware store. Bend a hook on the lower end and put put a washer and nut on the top.

I'd be interested in those bolts if they are the two correct lengths. Let me know, PM me if you want.

Found NOS at South Side Obsolete in Faribault, MN. Apparently he has lots of old parts in multiple buildings. Nice to see someone still has original parts.

This should be the first "go to guy" when looking for NOS parts. He has an amazing selection.
